Passion II

There is nothing like a great sequel…then again…there is nothing like a really bad sequel!!

Last Sunday we started the series called “Passion for Life”…this series is about, capturing a deeper understanding of the heart…that God has for us.

We are learning about how our Father in Heaven loves us in an unconditional and untraditional way…He runs to us everyday…embracing us in a new restored relationship….God is that Passionate about us!! All of us…I mean like, everyone….our family…our friends…our coworkers…EVERYONE!!

So, if we understand that God is this passionate about us and we embrace his love for us…does it not make sense that we share His passion with others? We share our thoughts about movies…hummm?

Remember…at Journey Church we are about… passionately loving God, unselfishly loving others, and compassionately serving the community.

This not just some cool purpose statement…it is what Jesus taught us in Matthew 22 and 28…this is our journey DNA.

Here is the million dollar question…Who do you know that needs to find a restored passion for life this week? Take the first person that came to your mind…pray for them…invest some time in them today…invite them to Journey with you this weekend.

Here is what I know…God is drawing people to himself to show them his love and grace…how does he do this…by connecting them to people just like you and me…why…so that we might walk with them in life and share His love with them…that is the journey walk…experiencing life together.

Passion II the squeal…is going to be even better than the first…bring a friend…so they can experience His passion…
