Save Some Lives!!

Journey Church,

This week has been a great week! Lots of activities, people bringing in water, working on float projects, decorating the church, getting water bottles ready to handout and much more. I know that this is a crazy time of year that we don’t need a bunch of busy work, Lord knows we have that. So, my prayer is that we see what we are doing here at Journey Church as a deep reminder of the true purpose of Christmas.

God sent his son so that we might find life through His personal sacrifice. Yes, Jesus came with a radical purpose placed upon his life; so it is the same for all of us who know him and follow him. We are called to be the light of the world, let Him shine through us…to be the salt , that means we are to add God’s flavor to the world. So this weekend is a time for US as His church to be a part of sharing what He has done and will do for those who are thirsty…both physically and spiritually. This is why we are asking all of you to come a be part of this weekend, I truly believe that more lives will be saved (physically and spiritually) because we make God’s purpose known to our community.

There are a few steps that we need to take to be ready for this weekend.
1. If you have water to bring to the church bring it today or on Saturday morning.
2. Saturday morning we meet at Bill and Brue’s house in the Farms to build the Float… 9:00am. Their address is 10237 157th St. N Jupiter FL 33478.
3. If you can’t work on the float we would like you to pray for the service and the parade, that God might show himself in a huge way in both places.

I encourage all of you to come this Sunday, bring a friend and lets worship and learn together what is means to be part of an uprising! I must say that I am very excited about what God is doing in all of you…his church…and what He is doing in the community around us. Let’s not miss out on taking advantage of this special time to share the true meaning of Christmas. May God Bless all of you as we worship the King.
