These might be the lyrics to an oldie but a goodie song, but it holds to a truth about our life with God. What are you dreaming about Journey Church?

The bible talks about: dreams, visions and hopes that go beyond what we see, think, feel or could even imagine. If we are going to be all that God has created us to be, we must journey with God in a deep personal way, a way that leads to becoming more like Jesus. When we are being transformed into the likeness of Christ, we start to see what God is doing around us. But when we are self-focused and self-centered we lose sight of what God is doing…we lose vision.

Proverbs 29:18
KJV:
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

The Message:
If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves;But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

So, what is God doing?
In less than a year God has added over 100 people to Journey Church.
More than 250 people have heard the gospel and the truth about the love of Jesus, witnessed life change, seen people take steps in their journeys, touched the lives of strangers, mingled with new families, feed the hungry, gave water to the thirsty, offered supplies to the needy, became part of a ministry that shows the love of Jesus…children’s, nursery, pre-school, 1st-5th, youth team, music, sound, Angel Food, greeting, hospitality, caregiver, prayer team, softball team, remodeling crew, small group host, cooks, cleaner, dreamers, lovers, community events, El Sol, Prosperity Oaks, taste and sees…friend days, Be the Church Sunday and the list keeps growing.

Why?
Because People Matter to God…and they must matter to us…the Church…the body of Christ…the hands and feet of the Good News…the voices of hope and truth…for hearts of love and compassion…We make a difference.

Why?
Because God has showed us His Love and we have believed and received Jesus into our lives. We are now the: children of God, a royal priesthood, co-hire to the Kingdom of Heaven, and the sons and daughters of our living God. We are Christ ambassadors, who have been given the ministry of reconciliation…we are the message bearers of God’s grace and love. We have experienced it, therefore we are to share it…we must…because it is God’s love that compels us to do so.

Can you see it?
See what? What God sees when he looks at you? He sees you as, the child He foreknew before the foundation of the world…He sees you as you are and as you are meant to be…He sees you as the one who is worth dying for…God sees you as one worth loving and forgiving. God wants you to be all that He created you to be, dreamed of you being, purposed you to be. God wants to prosper you and not harm you, to give you a hope and a future, to make you victorious over sin and death, to replace your sorrow with joy, to give you hope when it seems hope is lost, to restore your heart so that you can live life to the fullest. God Loves You that much and so much more.

Can we share the Love?
We all know someone who needs to be loved with the love of Christ. What is stopping us: fear, doubt, just to busy, overwhelmed with life, self centeredness, pride, lack of compassion, or could it be that we have forgotten God’s plan for all of mankind? It is time that we go back to our first love…Jesus and remember all that He has done for us. Now it is time to share it with someone who does not know the Hope of Glory.

Journey Church…God’s VISION AND HEART for you, your families, your friends, your neighbors is simple. He want to restore hope, passion and love to everyone we meet...how?

Simply love them like Christ has loved you.
